God Bless You Mr. Rosewater Exhibition

God Bless You Mr. Rosewater’ is a group exhibition within the Vonnegut Art Festival, a festival consisting of seven members with diverse practices who have decided to collaborate to produce a consistent series of art works, responding to the book and location of exhibition.

Vonnegut Art Festival was an arts festival curated by Fine Artists of The University of Lincoln. There were five separate group exhibitions throughout the city of Lincoln over two weeks in May 2015. All work created for the exhibitions responds to various books written by Kurt Vonnegut.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Mr. Rosewater is a multimillionaire who, traumatized by a wartime experience, tries to compensate with philanthropy and by treating the underprivileged with kindness. Running themes respond to the distribution of wealth and its social and psychological consequences.
