This collection of work explores power within materials. The 16 wine glasses piece was the result of an exploratory project with materials, connecting the pigment silver with wealth, and wine glasses with celebration and luxury. Silver and shiny surfaces has been a dominant theme within this series of work, with the connotations connecting it to objects of worth, and displaying social wealth.
The melted CD was photographed during an exploration with abstracting everyday materials, turning every day objects into objects of desire, stimulation and seduction.
